I'm so bummed!

Got out of the gym to hit a local restaurant for some dinner. I was meeting my friends there and when they came, they called me to say that someone hit my car in the parking lot. I thought they were trying to Punkd my azz, but when I got out some bitch in a white VW Jetta was screaming at my friend to get out of the way so she can run off the parking lot. Lo and behold! A fist sized dent in my driver's side rear bumper corner with streaks of white paint on my month old 6MT coupe! I yelled what the f*ck and she was yelling that she didn't do it and for us to get out of the way so she can leave. When I saw my paint streaked across her passenger side door, it was so obvious the dumb bitch meant to hit and run my car. Then her boyfriend popped out of the restaurant who didn't even see a thing and automatically refused that she hit my car after I showed him the paint marks on both cars. He started to make a scene about calling the police and taking it to court, but after all three of my friends told him that they saw what happened and showed him exactly where she hit my car with his car, he finally apologized and cooperated. The bitch continually sat in the car and swore the whole time that she wasn't lying and didn't even apologize.

What's with all these stupid VW driver's? Sounds like a pattern with dumb bitches and VWs. Anyhow I had to get that out of my system so I can move on and go through my post New G35 accident life. Thanks for listening!

Sorry to hear that man. If that was me and my girlfriend was there, she would have laid that other B#### out. She loves my G as much as I do. People are unbelievable, she probably thinks OJ is innocent too.

Did you get a police report, if you did you have some ammo, and get witnesses names and #'s. Good luck.

 

That is interesting, the last accident I had involved a lady rear-ending me in her silver 2000 VW beetle. She seemed genuinely upset about it though, even started crying and saying how glad she was that I was nice. Her insurance took care of everything, I wish I could say that about all the folks who have hit me.

I hope shes paing for it and you have her info. you have about 7-10 days to report it. You should report it ot have it on record then if she gives you a problem you have the report as proof an d to submit to insurace

 

First thing I did was to call "911". I wanted to yell "Some b*tch hit my NEW G!!!!" However, the police told me that they don't come to accident scenes occuring on private property and parking lots so they just told me to exchange information and contact our insurance companies.

I talked with GEICO (the other guy's insurance company) and apparently they have accepted liability for damages. I made arrangements for one of their adjusters to take a look at the damage and give me an estimate.

I'm also gonna take it to a dealership and have them take a look at it and see what they think. I'm so pissed now cuz GEICO will prolly just give me money to pop out the dent and repaint the bumper. The other choice is to buff out the paint smear and live with the scratches, chips, and urethane fatigue lines.

Well, if they accepted responsibility and only deliver a half-assed solution, take them to small claims court. Don't settle for what amounts to an apology and a slap in the face. Do the extra mile and get the extra dough you deserve.

Sorry to hear of the accident. Talk to your insurance agent and he'll help you negotiate an acceptable repair to your ride. You don't want anything less than as it was b4 the accident. That may mean bumper raplacement (with OEM parts) and the body panel depending how deep the scratches are.

I thought you only need to have an adjuster look at it, for a comprehensive type claim, not a liability claim.

Last time I was hit, I went to a body shop of my choosing, got an estimate, faxed it to their insurance company, and got a check in the mail a few days later.

 

Do not feel bad you know things happen.. That is why you got insurance.. Hope everything is going to be alright...
