Brembos look cooler!!! As far as the power is concerned, I have driven both and i can't tell the difference to be honest with you. The numbers say more torque in the earlier models, more horsepower in the later model. Depends on what you like.
I'd go with the 04 considering the mileage is low or right around where the 05 is. Everytime I look at my car, Im loving the look of my rims with the gold brembos behind them. Also, like said before 05 is revup which has been known to have oil consumption issues.

Now for the brake pads, as much as I wanted to go with the Akebono Racing pads for this set-up; unfortunately they don't work for Brembos since they are too thick. I had to go with the Nismo pads. With that configuration...STOPPAGE..hehehehhe...you'll have to experience it on your own. Now your at full Brembo Set-up. I know this coz I own one....hahahahhaha:
its not just brembo calipers.. you got brembo rotors and pads
Sorry! 03 and 04 came with Pilot Sports--they cut them in 05+.
As for Brembo pads and rotors: when I had to get my brakes done I put on Hawk HP street pads and slotted rotors and while they are essentially dust and noise free, they don't quite bite as hard as the stock pads/rotor.
Now, this should not be surprising: the stock pads dust like crazy which means they are very soft and the rotors last through 1 set of pads which means they are very soft. Together, this combo provides for incredible stopping power at the cost of a high rate of wear.

You like nice interior, get the 05, If your really into performance get the 04...
NOTE: I have smoked every stock, 05, 06 and 07 that has ever challenged me in my 04 so don't believe the hype. The 04 is a little lighter and has more torque, many have tried and failed. The +10 torque more than makes up for the 18HP and the chance to accidentally buy an 05 oil burner.

ha, well in addition to what other people are saying. I think it depends on the color of the car. My brembo's sure do contrast well against my CB paint...but if its not going to stand out, get the 05 for the warranty and higher resale value. If they're the same price, you'll be getting a better deal on an 05 b/c its a year newer, i think.
