It's essentially a piece of vinyl with little tiny holes in it. I found a company that has a 70/30 light transmittal meaning that the holes are smaller than what you can normally buy, supposedly most see through vinyl is 50/50. It's also semi adhesive so that you can apply it and if need be remove or reposition. It comes white but may be painted to whichever color you choose. I got a 54"x 30" sheet mailed to me for 30.00 .
