why? HR's i heard respond better to mods, have a better power curve, have dual throttle intakes, and is newer. I fail to see why anyone would want a DE > HR.

The one on the right is a fake MREV2 (Which as you know MREV+/MREV2 are made from Non Rev-Ups.)

Read this for info

My neighbor had a little get together and a friend of his is a mechanic at the Infiniti dealer close by. After we talked about mods I popped the hood and he too a look at my engine and said he thought I had a mispicked engine. That even though my vin said 2006 vq35de it was a hr. I asked how he could tell and he said it was from twin or dual exhaust cam sensors. I had this same thing in my old truck, I had a 96 Dakota with a 97 engine in it. Is it possible to have an 07hr dropped into an older body?

You have a rev up, not an hr.

Its only revup if its 6MT. Auto still on the DE. No V35 came with an HR. Only V36 chassis.
