Revup vs. VQ35HR?
Revup vs. VQ35HR?
I thought that the Revup motor = VQ35HR, but in reading this post Here It's stated that an '05 Coupe 6MT comes with the revup. I know that it doesn't come up with the VQ35HR (7'500 redline, dual intake) because my '06 has neither of those things, but is my '06 considered a revup?

On the left is a Rev-Up, and on the right is a Non Rev-Up. (minus the flat runners).
And what htownboy said.
If I can put the VQ37HR into my G35 Coupe I would be a very happy man. I rather have that engine than Vortech my car or turbo it. The new 3.7L V6 is much smoother than the old clunky VQ35DE.
Of course if a VR38DETT is available...........

I love my DE engine. I punish the hell out of it and it keeps coming back asking for more. After 89K it's still as strong as the day I bought it new.
Although I would love to swap a Vq35HR in there with some turbos.
