heading to the track...

with 2 of my friends to Palmdale's track. I'm hoping to get around 14.5-14.7 depending on my launches.(for those that don't know, palmdale usually adds about .5 to your 1/4 time) Wish me luck.
Btw, one of my friend has the A6 2.7T and the other friend has the new E55. Will post slips if i can later

Re: heading to the track...

I was there last friday. I hit 14.89. 14.83 14.79. Palmdale is kind of a bad track to test. Reply in the West forum when you are going to go. I might come out with you.

Re: heading to the track...

oh, I went tonight and got shitty times. Oh man, I had trouble launching the car...first time taking the G to the track. best score was 15 seconds flat with a few 15.2's and 15.3's. Couldn't get the car to launch and towards the end of the night, tried launching in a different way and that's how I got my 15.0X. My 60 ft was still 2.4 so I could bring down my time greatly if I launch better. Must go more often. =) All in all, it was a fun night. The G got me humbled about launching RWD cars.

Re: heading to the track...

bah, you're all the way at Florida. I would be VERY impressed if u could even get a 14.5 at palmdale. Palmdale isn't the best track for testing out your real 1/4 times. Anyone know of a good 1/4 in the so cal area that gives decent times compared to palmdale? thanks
