Another prospect evaluation, 05 LS 50k

Okay, here's another potential ride I found in Phoenix and you guys are the pricing experts so let me know how it looks.

2005 LS, 50k, AT, Stone, Everything but Aero. New tires, always garaged, no scratches/dings etc. Standard things you hear from a seller. Has a lien on it still.

Asking 25k obo and we're definitely in obo territory here. Question is, worth getting with 50k miles and what's a good obo to put on the table before I drive a few hours to get there? As always, thanks!

-V

P.S. I drove to San Diego on Friday to drive an AB 05... Beautiful, but about $2500 in damage from being great. 14 hours driving that day.

Sounds way too high for 50k miles.

BB In excellent says 23,060 and we know rarely does something come along in that condition. Is the 50k miles a concern? I'd been looking for something in the 30-37 range, but for the right price....

I use cars.com, autotrader.com and autoextra.com Covers as much as I can find. Stumbled onto this one today, guy's price is way off. Fiancé is in Phoenix for training till Thurs, maybe she can go give it the visual inspection. She knows exactly what I need it to be. Then I can tentative offer, if good, over the phone without wasting a trip.

I don't want an 04 and I'm only looking for LS or AB rides so that narrows my options considerably. If it's mint I'll try to work him into the sub 22 range. Listing at 25 was crazy...

Private's the only way to go around here. Add tax on a 23k tab, no fun. I hope this ride is a good one. If so I'll put the offer out there, give him some time to think on it. No rush on my end. Love that Lakeshore... Athens too. Question is, what's it worth?

ha, I drove a TB 04 at the VW dealership here in town, but didn't buy it. They had it listed for 25,998 and I wasn't that interested. Now it's listed for 19,998 and I'd be tempted to go in and offer less. It books at over 25. It was a smoker car, that I could tell. Pretty good shape inside, slight blemishes outside and some hideous 18" chrome aftermarkets. 41k miles on it. ~21k out the door... Worth the older interior? The LS has 50k miles, fiance will see it Thurs evening and let me know how it looks.
