Quick question about brake pedals?

I just bought an 04 G35 with premium package and brembo brakes and noticed that my pedals are rubber and not aluminum as i've seen on all the other used g35's. Are these pedals optional on the 04 coupe or did all of them come with it from factory?

Not sure about coupes but they weren't standard in the Gen 1 sedans.

Factory. If you want Aluminum pedals, checkout Grubbs Performance. They carry a set for the 6MT and comes with installation instructions as well as removal of the stock pedals.

I have the premium pkg on my 05' and it came with aluminum pedals. I don't think aluminum pedals are a part of any package and come standard.

Aluminum pedals weren't standard or an option IIRC on '03-'04 6MT

I have an 04.5 6MT with Prem Pack and every option except NAV and those aluminum pedals; they were a separate option in 04 for coupes... I added them after I took the car home...

+1 on htownboys reply.....I did the same thing.

In 03-04 all the G's are built with rubber pedals.

The aluminum pedals are genuine Nissan/Infiniti parts but were added either as a port option or at the dealer with a hefty upcharge for the option.....I bought a set of the aluminum pedals from a dealer, took them home, and installed them myself.

There are several threads on the install......I found that for the clutch and brake pedals, dropping them into boiling water for a few seconds softened the rubber under the aluminum so that they slipped right on.

Are the aluminum pedals just covers that slip over the stock rubber pedals?

Brake Pedals......?

Here's an easy fix, you can go with aftermarket pedals like Momo or if you
want the OEM pedals give Tony a call at Riverside Infiniti..1-800-919-8130.
His discount prices are much better than any other dealership you'll find!
