Great Deal on 2004 6mt?

Just curious about your opinion.

I am about to buy a 6mt Graphite/Graphite, Premium, Aero for 1.5% over invoice or $33,500. I know this is a great deal and i am probably going to take it. In fact I think it is such a great deal that I must be missing something.

The price is legit. But why are they giving it to me? Is it because they know the 2005s are coming out soon? Would love some feedback.

I am getting $2,600 off MSRP. I am a fool if I dont take it right??

Jump on this! I've never heard of a "G" 6MT Coupe going for such a low price.

Good Luck

Lou

can you share what dealership is offering you this price? That kind of pricing is only possible through VPP...Is that what you used?

I am getting the car today at Douglas Infinit in Summit, NJ. If anything doesn't go as planned I will report back later. However, I know I am not being taken.

Wish me luck.

Re: Great Deal on 2004 6mt?

I bought my 2004.5 a month ago for about $150 over invoice, AND they threw in wheel locks because I wanted to pick it up that very minute and they didn't have time to take them off. They gave me VPP. I'm in a metropolitan area. If you work it right, anyone can get VPP. When you shop, dress in slacks, act professionally, etc. They want referrals. If they think you're some rich punk they couldn't care less whether you refer anyone.

It helps to work for a large company. If you don't, fabricate a business card and say you work for ACME Inc., or whoever the big company is in your town. Only proof you need is a business card.

Having said all that, 1.5% is a very very fair price. Watch out for mark up on the Doc fees, window tinting and other B.S. they will try to tell you is permanent. Do you pay a bun fee when you buy a Big Mac? or a receipt fee? Of course not. Profit is profit.

Which metropolitan area do you live in where you get 150 above invoice?

SNELLDOG: I got my G 6MT, DG, G, Prem for 33,278 and I leased mine. I stood my ground though and got it. Good luck! I lived in the moment and was not worrying about the 2005 Gs. I knew what I wanted and I am glad I got a 2004.

Douglas in Summit, NJ is a good place. I was dealing with a woman named Dianna Chiles and she was very nice and I would def recommend her. I ended up getting my car in West Chester, PA. The other dealership I would go to is Willow Grove, PA.

I just picked mine up for $33,495 + TL in San Francisco from SERRAMONTE INFINITI - Ask for MANNY MARTINEZ (GM) or REUBEN in sales!

Anyone know what's up with the 2005 Cpe?

Re: Great Deal on 2004 6mt?

snell,

i got my 6mtC at douglas too.
i ordered mine back in june, took delivery in sept, it was the first of the 04's. i got 1250 off msrp THEN.
back then, it was super rare to get any discounts. everything went perfect. upon delivery they through in wheel locks, an oil change or two, couple of little items.

someone else on this board got it after me.
i wonder if your current break was after their fire and them taking up temporary residence at their ford dealership.

enjoy.

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.
