Wood Yes or NO?

I have owned serveral late model Mercedes Benz vehicles and very much like the wood dash and accents.
On the Nissan of Japan web site there are some pieces made for the G35 that look nice. Has anyone bought these and are they REAL wood?
Stick on pieces are not an option, they look cheap.

They're not real wood, they'll just be stick ons. Maybe its just me, but wood accents just seem very "last decade" nowadays.

I think the Japanese Nissan wood dash trim replaces that center console. I don't think they just stick on our stock consoles, they replace the whole part.

That wood trim looks great and I thought about doing something like that but if you do the math and covnersion from Yen to USD, its e x p e n s i v e!

I think wood in the coupes is g h e t t o. Maybe if you have the willow interior it will give it that M45 feel/look (if you can get the door panel accents), but overall the titanium works pretty well.

The car has enough elegance that is balanced by the sharpness and contemporary look of the silver interior. (IMHO)

I will never consider wood for the G35 coupe.
I love wood on a luxury car, but not on a sports/sporty car .

I'm not a fan of wood trim in any car. I always prefer aluminum/metallic type accents over wood. It may or may not have something to do with my age (I'm 29), but the pics of the G35 wood interior looks hideous to my eyes.

lorinserbenz... if you like it, then go for it. whether or not you have a coupe/sedan, that is a lot of wood, in my opinion. for a coupe, i'd stick with something more sporty and less elegant -- something non-woody. it's weird how that willow interior has a graphite shifter in that bigger pic.
