G35 Coupe & Jet Ski

So i have red a few threads here about people putting a hitch on their rides. But has anyone successfully added a hitch to a coupe and been on a boat ramp. If so does anyone have pics?

Im thinking about adding a hitch to the "G" but not sure yet. I have a 6MT Coupe and a little nervous about how far down to car will be and if i'll slide into the lake. Can anyone help a brutha out?

Haha, NOT with a G please. I have my share of inserting and removing jet ski/boats from ramps. I would say do not do it. I am not saying it can not be done but i would suggest not to do it.

Why do you ask? Is the g your only car? I do not know your situation, but I have a ramp at our house and we just bought a golf cart to do the trick. Works great!

Man... a G35 Coupe... Low Profile summer tires, on a slimey, angled boat ramp..... that's a recipe for disaster.

Guys with 2WD trucks sometimes get stuck on those ramps because they are too slick to get traction on. I would imagine this would be very similar with a G35.. the only difference being that a G probably has a little more weight over the rear wheels than a 2WD pickup truck would. Unless you have a really long trailer that will keep the G up on the dry portion of the ramp while you're putting your jetskis in the water, I would not try this.

it shouldnt be a problem. I put a hitch on an Rx7 convertible, and towed my jetski for one whole summer, I had no problems at all. Its not like you are pulling 2000lbs or anything like that.

Wow...I wouldnt even think about it.
I could just imagine spining your wheels like crazy trying to pull out but instead you are sliding backwards into the water.
Plus jet ski trailers are not that long, so you will be pretty far in the water to get them in there.

PLEASE DONT DO IT!
I dont want to see a thread about you getting stuck or the G trashed in the water.
