front grille gap?

Im new here, so bare with me......

Why do i notice such large gaps for the grilles like this one between the hood and the grille? Are they all like this? Anything to do to fix it? I love the look, but that gap would drive me crazy.

Poor fitment of the grille.

Check the gap on this grille out.

probably a replica with poor fitment, happens with alot of grills. The only one I've seen with perfect fitment is the authentic gialla, and even those occasionally have gap issues

Wow, im not used to all these replicas you guys have. While its nice because its pretty cheap, i guess you really have to look out for crappy products.

I will have to do a search for the authentic gialla

BTW. O RLY's data systems grill is authentic, real/authentic isn't always going to solve that problem, especially with the grill

Plus its more noticable on a white. And the angle of the pix makes it hard to see how big the gap really is.

If you don't like the GAP then go with Kenneth Cole or Abercombie & Fitch or Express...hahahahaa..just kidding man. Too bad we can't test fit before purchasing just like clothing.

Maybe it's my eyes but I'm not seeing a bad gap at all in this pic??

I got a replica from a good guy on here, but the middle is driving me nuts, it's sagging and the mesh is always putting stress on the grille and pulling it together, making it wavy. I'm just fed up with it. Anyone got the Top Secret front bumper? Looks like that would solve all my problems. Anyone got the replica of it?

I'm just wondering if the bumper+grille as one piece fixes the headaches of getting the two pieces separately....

If you arent going to do something right the first time, why do it at all? I am **** about my cars, if im going to dump tens of thousands of dollars into my cars, i expect close-to perfection. I have 10 different body parts on another car. all but one peice lined up perfect (the hood, but after some adjustments, it fits great now), and i used 4 different manufacturers. So, i dont think parts that line up correctly is asking too much. But if this how most of the grilles look, i will stick with stock until someone makes one that does line up correctly.

Section 1 is the way it should look all the way around. section 2 is the gap im talking about.

Good man, only accept quality parts with good fitment, or stay OEM. My own personal philosophy on parts. Too many are willing to accept mediocrity resulting in the watered down market that now exists.

the top secret replicas are no better, just look at the first pic at the TS bumper on the car on the right, it has hood gap issues just like the aftermarket grill
