Wow thank God you didn't have any passengers... my God that's scary to look at.

Thank goodness you're OK!

Oh man...If I were you, I would be heart attack at that moment.

Glad you are ok.

So, how is your TL compare to G? Performance, gas millege, and all.

In terms of straight line acceleration; it's the same on paper, but in real life, it seems the G has more grunt. Cornering of course with the TL is nothing compared to the G. Torque steer is a problem. Gas milage may be the TL's only saving grace...but I'll trade the gas milage for more fun now that I don't have my G.

Judging by the pictures, it looks like the bumper area and hood didn't really sustain much damage (compared to the rest of the car). The main airbag sensor is mounted on the front bumper, the other is under the center console. I'm guessing there weren't enough deceleration forces on these sensors to trigger the airbags.

My wife has a TL. Everyone on the TL forums swears the TL is faster. Evertime I bump into my wife on the commute home, she always tries to get home first. She has never been able to take me from a roll or from a dig. And the funny thing, is that we're both averaging the same fuel economy. (20-21mpg). (Both cars were bone stock wearing the same tires even)

And yes, Torque steer sucks... One time I was driving her car to get gas.. I was going up an incline in the rain. I changed lanes to pass a slow-poke... As I gunned the accelerator, the slip light illuminated, and the car JERKED towards the next lane. I had to hold the wheel with all my might to keep the car in my own lane.

A few weeks later I did the same thing in my G Coupe, in the same location... Rear end stepped a little sideways, but keeping the car in my own lane was relatively effortless.

I'd rather had an '03 AT G35 coupe, than a '08 TL Type S.

Don't let those TL's fool you. The G stops better, handles better, does pretty much everything better. 6 months after getting my G...I still had a permanent smile on my face...not lying 3 days after getting the TL, I was wanting to return it.

Holy $hit!!! You're lucky you are alive bro. Cars can be replaced but people can't. Glad to see you made it out ok.

Wow! Craziness! Glad to see you made it out unscathed!
Looks like you kept the car waxed though.
Thank God from the looks of it. God FTW!
