You should have disconnected the battery or placed a trickle charger on it until you were ready to drive it again.

+1...

A car shouldn't sit that long without having the battery disconnected. And, if you can help it, it shouldn't EVER sit that long without being driven.

Let us know how the startup turns out...

Oh and be sure to let it sit and idle for a while (I'd say 10 min at least) before you put it in gear and drive it so that the engine can get well-lubricated before being used again. Also keep the RPMs down on the first drive.

If ain't "well lubed" in the 1st 10 sec the motor will be bascily toast.

Make sure you check all of the fluids, and make sure the Oil is still good!.

Also you prob should have put some fuel stabilizer in the tank.

yeah, the usual fluid/filter change after the first run, hopefully you didn't have too much gas in tank, as it will probably not be much good.

check your tires too, pressure, cracking.

45 days shouldn't be too bad.

good luck.

this is what I did for my integra when I did a motor swap, I filled it with fresh oil, then unplugged the distributor and cranked it a few times, this will get oil back in the motor and build some presure. Not sure if it works the same for the G.

I'd be amazed if the battery's not dead. In addition to what's above you could put a battery tender on it now and see if that charges it back up. And then use it the next time the car sits. They're not expensive.
