From what I understand the 6MT's that came with the Brembos (03-04 production models) are rare. I tend to think that is somewhat true b/c I barely see any Brembo model coupes. But I do see a lot of 6MT non-brembo models...so I guess it just depends on the year when you consider rarity...

I think I've only ever seen maybe 3 or 4 other G35 Coupes with the Brembo Brakes(which means '03 or '04 6MT Coupes) in my state during the entire 4 years I've owned my car. I always look at other G35's too when I see them, so it's something that would get noticed.

I've never really thought about those numbers until reading this thread, but it does make me think that perhaps us '03 and '04 6MT Coupers do have a more rare configuration than one would initially guess.

That being said, I still don't consider 6MT Coupes a rare car... just less common than the autos.

Well I guess an Athens Blue 6MT with Nav is "rare". And that I have RAS too i think the number dwindles down even more.

I don't know about actually calling them "rare", but depending on the color and options some are fairly hard to find. That being said, the two post's above mine are going to fall into that list FOR SURE!

I have an 06 6mt in Laser Red, no nav, RAS, aero and Sport pkg, with WHEAT leather interior. Try to find ANY 07 AND UP 6mt's in Red with Wheat leather and you'll just as soon be able to walk on water!!!!!!!!! I'm just VERY glad that I found mine when I did and paid cash out the door while the getting was good. Why in the name of God did they decide that you have to have black or near black leather if you want the Sport model??? This alone could keep me from buying a new G37. I love the car, I can't however deal with black leather, makes the interior look much smaller. Oh, and the fact that it's hotter in the summer could matter to some. (I keep my car garaged and only drive it for pleasure so that's not an issue as it very seldom sits out in the sun unless it's for lunch with friends or something similar). Plus the lighter leather looks more like a luxury coupe.

Please guys... not looking for a flame war here, as I've seen plenty of coupes that look great with black interior. Just not red ones! Yet now if I want the sport package I MUST go with dark interior, period. Now I can go with the Journey package but then I've got to instantly spend several grand on different shocks, springs, and sway bars. Might as well go with a full coilover setup! That's BS. Might as well go for the C6 and be done with it.

They are rare at dealerships, who rarely buy manuals because they are harder to sell. Turns out most people prefer an automatic.
Most OEM dealerships are this way, you need to go private party or to a specialty/private dealership to find manual transmissions. That goes for most cars.

You do realize that all cars(both manual and automatic tranny cars) at some point were new and came from a regular(OEM) dealership.... right?... that's how it got into the hands of some other "private party" owner in the first place. There are no special circumstances involved in the way manual transmssion cars get into circulation for the most part(except for those vehicles that aren't made in manuals and someone fabbed up a manual tranny into it). Almost all dealerships will sell a car in a manual transmission version provided that the auto maker that they represent makes them in that configuration.... it's just that most dealerships keep more autos on hand because they are the higher demand vehicle amongst the general populous in this country. There are no special dealerships that only sell versions of a specific car in manuals... or at least not for Nissan/Infiniti or most of the other common brands of cars(Toyota/Lexus, VW, Honda, etc).

I don't know how rare 6MT's are, but you certainly won't have a problem finding DG, that's for sure.

Me and two other guys have this unofficial little g35 meet at school every day. I started parking next to another g35 to protect my car from dings. Then another black G always flanks me on my right. We all have 03 6mt with brembos . Im on the only one with nav though

NOTHING IS RARE IN SOCAL

I have an 05 6MT Graphite G35 coupe with black interior. All the packages are included with NAVIGATION....It took me about 11 months to find online...There were some manual G35's but navigation was extremely rare.
