Speaking of rare. The Infiniti dealership are rare.. There are two that are closes to me, yet take at least 1 hr to get there.. There are plenty of Hondas and Acuras dealership though.

Checking the local sites for a two month period, back when I was looking, and only found 1 black/black 6MT coupe with Navigation within 100 miles. SOLD!

This is very true. I think there are only 4 Infiniti dealerships within reasonable driving distance from where I live, and none are closer than 30 miles from here.

Infiniti only produced those in 03 and 04.... i dont understand why they discontinued it.

NOTHING IS RARE IN SOCAL
a woman with a rack that has not been touched by a surgeon is rare in socal

I was going to say that I see G's with brembos all the time... but everytime i see a G, i always look for brembos.. haha

Most OEM dealerships are this way, you need to go private party or to a specialty/private dealership to find manual transmissions. That goes for most cars.
We buy EVERY 6MT we can get our hands on. We usually end up sending it back, because it's in terrible condition

Everyone wants a 6MT, and it's rare for any used 6MT to stay on our lot more than a week.

Personally, I went to 7 different Infiniti Dealers in SoCal, and almost NONE of them had 6MT G35's in stock. Luckily I found one at a Toyota Dealership(LOL). And I don't think they are rare at all, it's just that people like us are already buying them out ^.^

When I bought my 07 the dealer didn't have a single new MT on the lot. I'm sure they could have traded for one but I guess the majority are autos. But that's true in Corvettes also, and probably other sports cars.

It only took me 2 weeks to find a 6MT coupe that I liked. There were plenty of black and silver 6MT on autotrader, but I wanted some other color with black leather. This is in Socal. Ended up with a 06 6MT Athens Blue with Nav and Ras. My first choice in color is IP, but can't get that with graphite leather after 04.

I moved my brakes and headlights over from my 03.

My advice is to look on autotrader. You don't have to get it from an Infiniti dealer, just make sure that it still has factory warranty, and that the carfax is clean.

Why did you move your headlights over to your new '06 car? The 06's already come with the projector headlights that I would presume are the same type as the ones you retrofitted to your old '03 Coupe originally.

Talking about used cars dude.... By specialty dealerships I meant something like "Moe's Imports" Vs. OEM dealerships like "Long Beach Infiniti"

Almost all dealerships will sell a car in a manual transmission version provided that the auto maker that they represent makes them in that configuration.... it's just that most dealerships keep more autos on hand because they are the higher demand vehicle amongst the general populous in this country. There are no special dealerships that only sell versions of a specific car in manuals... or at least not for Nissan/Infiniti or most of the other common brands of cars(Toyota/Lexus, VW, Honda, etc).

It's not just about have a projector in the low beam, my 03 lights have TSX low beam projectors with 50W ballasts, TL projectors with clear lenses in the fog/high beam, and CCFL side strip lights. The cutoff is much sharper with my modded lights. The headlights and the brakes were the two main reasons why I ended up with another G35, so that I could still use those mods.
