Just bought an 06 G Auto. In the mornings during the first forward acceleration always under 3000 RPM I hear this weird "whoosh" noise come from the front of my car. After this first instance ie. stopped at a light or stop sign, the noise doesn't happen again when accelerating out of first gear. However, if i park my car for say 2 hours this noise occurs again during the first forward acceleration. The car only has 9k miles on it.

Anyone else ever experience this?

Plus the rattling coming from the back panels is really annoying.

 

It is probably the ABS self check. It should do it every time you start up your car. On the first forward (perhaps even reverse) motion, it'll make a fairly odd woosh/chunk noise. It's normal as long as is not overly loud. There have been other threads about this.
