I ordered a G35 6mt a few weeks ago. Today I called the dealer to check the status and they told me it arrived today, but there was a slight problem. I ordered the aero kit without the spoiler and it came with the spoiler. The dealer gave me three options:

1. Take the car with the spoiler at no extra cost
2. order a new one from Japan
3. They could swirch the trunck lid with another G35

I choose option 3. They said it should be ready by Friday.

Today I called the salesman at 4:00 PM and left a message and he did not return my call. I call again at 7:00 PM and was able to contact him. I am curious why if my car arrived today they did not call me and why they didn't even return my call. Do you think they planned to switch the trunck lid before they called me?

 

I think they:

1. Ordered the one with the spoiler because one was available and hoped you'd take it.
2. They actually goofed and accidently ordered it with the spoiler
3. It really did come with the spoiler from Japan by accident.

It could be possible that they were going to switch the trunk, but then, it would have been easier to tell you it's not going to be in until Friday as they planned and have you pick it up without any hassles on their part, no?
