Is this safe?

I've searched the forums for the jack points on my 2004 coupe and was able to locate them, however I'm not sure if the jack stands can be safely positioned this way. I've seen a pretty good video of a guy doing an oil change and his jack stands were turned about 90 degrees off the way I have them positioned, however since the jack stands I have access to aren't flat and seem bigger, I can't really have them like that, so I tried putting them in line and on the inside of the metal part that sticks down. I gave the car a good push while it was on the stands to see if it was stable, and it didn't budge. I decided to take some pics and get some advice from the experts here. Would it be safe to get underneath these stands?

I think you should twist the stands... so the frame straddles the stand. Thats what i'd do.
