Anyone on this board have some decent shots of the G's headlights at night? Are they really as bad as everyone makes them out to be?

P.S. Our search function is horrible...We need some 05 changes to it..lol

 

Sorry no pics but I personally don't think that the lights are that bad. Raising the level of the beam helps a lot visually...as long as you do it so that you don't blind the oncoming traffic.

I'm not really an expert on lighting, but to me, the HID's in my aunt's Benz like lights up the entire street clearly, while ours are like two beams like normal halogen lights, but brighter. They definitely look better than halogens, but lighting quality is poor. Color is decent at best (depending on what you like). The low beam / fog / clearance marker are pathetic excuses for light bulbs IMHO.

its because benz's, bmw's, etc all have projector headlights and so it spreads the light better

 

my IS headlights are way better then the Gs too and they are not projector, just a reflector. I think the G's lights are so bad because the reflector is small (bigger is better).
