First time G35 buyer advice needed!
I am interest in buying a 06 G35 in either Silver or Black with Black interior. I find the 2006 to be the best year since the sports package is included and the projector headlights. I would also like a fully loaded version with memory/heated seats and bose audio. I am only looking to spend 26k. Is this a reasonable price? Also how is this car on gas??

^haha the audio. depends on how picky you are.. if I were to get my own parts I won't pay for Bose.. just cuz the quality is not worth the money.. but consider that they come w/ the car.. it's not bad at all..
and the MPG.. i get city/hwy combined 20mpg.. hwy only i've gotton as high as 27.. and when i'm feeling happy-footed.. ya.. about 13 but if you are always happy footed expect frequent brake changes and tires changes.. which is about 1K each.. so in that perspective MPG isn't that important

My 2 cents.
I bought a basic Silver 2006 with black interior. It came with the sport 19" wheels, a moon/sun roof and a spoiler.
No extra bells and whistles. (it does come with heated seats) I am more than satisfied with the basic car stereo. Don't buy into the Bose hype. I have owned a fair share of Bose home stereo equipment. A car is not the ideal acoustic enviroment for a stereo. I may just replace the wonderful speakers the basic stereo came with they were manufactured with that magical product called paper.
If you go to an Infiniti dealership for a "Certified Used"(Translation, a concept thought up by pointed headed business men to not lose money when cars come off lease) 2006 You will be hard pressed to get one for 26K. Try to find one from a used section is other car dealerships. Craigislist.com is suspect unless you can go to the persons house and see touch, drool, fondle or massage the car yourself.
Also buy the unlimited Carfax subscription. It is money well spent and although Carfax may not be acurrate you can read inbetween the lines to see where cars have come from and what former life they led, i.e. I came from Louisiana and surfed the Levey's in New Orleans. It took me 3 weeks to find my Infiniti due to the scammers, liars and stealerships who did not want to go lower than 28k for the car.
Buying a car is a full time job and like everything else you are going to make a big purchase for it's Caveat Emptor, "Buyer BEWARE!"
Do your homework and don't rush into a POS (Piece of Shizat), in the car business there is a saying "There is an azz for every seat" Just make sure your's is comfortable and there is ALWAYS a better looking car arround the corner.
Good Luck. Black on Black huh? You must love the heat.
