I wouldnt worry about the oxidation unless it is really bad, I live by the water. and I get some also.

As far as the VDC off, did you push the button to see if it would turn back on? or is it on when the car is started. That might be a sign of a problem wih the brakes.

You may have already tried this, but did you look at the settings on the radio to see if he had the fader or balance (w.e it is) adjusted wrong so it only comes out of the front speakers? or are they 100% dead?

sorry I was working today haha...but honestly the car isn't as bad as what I think most people are imagining...

The bose I know is a common problem so I'm not too worried about that.

The paint I think just needs a good detail as it isn't oxidizing or anything of that nature and is still shiney.

Well it looks like the oxidation is NOT a problem so thats good. That was really the main thing I was worried about.

The interior is actually very clean as far as the leather goes. It's pretty much exactly what I would expect from a car with 17k miles.

The reason I really am considering this car is because of such low mileage. Most of the 04 G35 6mt's in my area are at about 50k so the gap is really large in my mind. Also the car seems very mechanically sound.

I will let you guys know if I pick it up and of course more suggestions, comments the better!!!

oh and another thing...

If I were to swap out the OEM HU with a Double Din/Avic-Z1....would that essential fix the problem of the speakers cutting out on the left??

It isn't the BOSE amp that is creating the problem with the speakers correct?

im almost sure it will, Because it’s the circuit board that is causing them to go out

So does the VDC work? The owner might have a KP technologies traction control memory module installed. Also did you try messing with the audio options? like moving the balance to the left?

I'm sure it does work...what i meant as far as the VDC was that he turned it "off" (vdc light was lite up on the dash) and I thought maybe the seller turned off the VDC so he could "smash" on the car easier...

VDC off doesn't mean you want to smash on the car. It could just mean you want to chirip your tires occasionally.
