Can anyone tell me the significance of the sports-tuned suspension package for a G35 coupe? Is it necessary to have that option?
I ask this because I am getting a 2007 coupe, it has all the other packages(premium, NAV), but no sports suspension package...
I wont have the orange stitching on my steering wheel
And it comes with 17" wheels

brb getting cut
you mean it comes with the 19" wheels. the purpose of that package is for better handling basically as a result of stiffer springs, that's all. and the orange stitching which I love

Well, the one I am looking at wont have the 19" wheels nor the suspension package. But is that significant?
I mean, I can always tune it aftermarket right?

What do the 17" wheels on an '07 look like? I didn't think they had anything but 19's...

I am curious how the 17" will look too, maybe I heard wrong...
Guess I am finding out tomorrow.

This all depends on if you plan on modding the car or not, If you plan to leave it stock then the sports tuned suspension is a must

Sport package also offers the sport side skirts and sport front bumper.
It will slightly increase resell value to the right buyer.
If you're going to upgrade your suspension anyway, then think it over for a bit.
I'm so depressed...

i thought the premium package automatically upgraded the wheels to the 18"s... anyway, i've never driven a coupe that didn't have the suspension package, but i loooove mine
i say you should go for the car (try to act discouraged about the lack of sport suspension to get a better price) then as soon as you get it, get some better wheels than the 17"s and tune the suspension

I mean eventually, I will plan on changing or tuning the suspension if I do get the coupe without the sports tuned suspension, but I guess my question is driving-wise for now, should I really care if there is no sports tuned suspension? Does it make a big difference?

Car when i first got it, its an 07. They took off 1600 for the whole sport suspension package because i had them take off the 19" wheels before i bought it.

In that case if you don't get the sport tuned suspension you should upgrade your suspension before any other mods. Originally Posted by badmilk

In fact, a lot of people would say you should do suspension first anyhow. All depends upon what your daily driving entails.
