I just called Firestone and I'm getting my free changeover to my 18's from my LM-22's today instead of wednesday. These guys are a bunch of 18yr old amatures and I know that they are going to get it wrong. Last time I had to go back 3 times just to be able to drive my car over 50mph without sufferring an earthquake.

How do I make sure that they get the tire sizes for front and back right?

Also I'm figuring that the alignment and balance is going to be off. Luckily I have a service appointment later today.

Is this something that is going to be checked on my service today? Do I have to request them to check it? Am I going to be charged?

This is just me but if you have had that much trouble with them then I would take my business else were. I dont know if your state has them but I usually go to Hibdon's Tire Center and they have always been great.
