Going on Vacation for 3 months!

ok...Im leaving exactly a week from now....
gonna come back around mid Aug....soo thats like 3 months from now...

i have to unplug the battery, right???
n wht else i need to do?????

or is not nessesaray to do anything????

i dont wanna like...cant start my car after i come back...

put your car on jack stands to keep the weight off your suspension while your gone...thats a long time to sit in the same spot without any movement

pull the batt cables, and fuel stabilizer (Stabil works best) . Might not be a bad idea to get a car cover either. Is it going to be parked inside or outside?

I'd just ask a responsibile individual to drive it once a week. Thats what I do when I go away for a while.

lol...im actually going to Beijing to watch the olympics..
then gonna head to HK for a couple of weeks....probably buy some cheap parts while i at it???
lol.....


is puting car on jack stand really nessesary?

unless you can do like pattyskin said and have someone you trust drive it once a week...3 months is a long time to not move.

I wouldn't worry about jacking the car. But either unplug the battery or use a battery tender.
