Best year of G35 Coupe
#48
I looked on wikipedia and it said the 03-04 model coupes had problems with rotors being worn out earlier?
"Brembo brakes were removed for the 2005 and 2006 models, and the brakes were redesigned with larger discs and a different caliper design. This was partly in response to a number of complaints about the previous years' brakes, which included a class action lawsuit filed in California related to premature wear on 2003-2004 models"

what is the point of your question OP?
Are you trying to get a used one and save some money but don't wanna end up with a bad year?
If that's the case then start from 05
The interior was redesigned in 05 and pretty much stays the same further on.
In 06 some exterior differences were made. Such as a new front bumper, diff spoiler, slightly diff tail lights.
If money saving is not a question then of course the best yea is 07. It's the newest G35Coupe you can get.

Someone needs to correctly update the Wikipedia site....the only brake problems that the 03-04 had was with the 5AT, which wore out quickly.
The 6MT coupes of those years had the Brembos.....the only issue with the Brembos was some people didn't bed the brakes correctly after replacing pads and they got squealing pads. I have the Brembos.....I never had problems with my factory pads squealing.....I replaced them with the Hawk street pads and never had any squealing ever.
The real reason the Brembos were removed was that they cost too much and Nissan/Infiniti needed to cut costs somewhere to fund the improvements in the interiors of the cars....so the Brembos were ditched and 5AT's and 6MT's all got new brakes in 05 and up.
That is what should be in Wikipedia
