need help on transmission fluied
i got a 2004..g35 coupe automatic..and im tryna do a drain and fill on my transmission fluied..only one big problem..where the heck do i fill it in? i THINK i see something way int he back of the motor near the firewall that has this long clear tube that leads somewhere to the bottom..is that it? another thing..where the heck is the dip-stick thing for the transmission fluid? how do i know if i need to fill more fuilde or if i did too much? help guys...
If you read the manual, a drain and refill is not recommended. They tell you to do a complete flush of the transmission fluid. Drain and refill only replaces about 1/3 of the fluid. Also make sure you use the Nissan fluid, otherwise it will void your warranty on the transmission. A transmission flush at the Nissan dealer is between $100-$120. May be on the high side but it's peace of mind.
