Is g35c gas mileage this bad?????

hey people.....
i recently bought 05 coupe about a year ago,,,,
and i am new to this forum....

so i just want to throw my question here...

i did not do any mods yet,, (planing to put intake,,,in the nearest future)

i put about 17~18 gallons of 93 premium gas...

and in local driving,,like going to school and go out and eat...
i only get like 240~250 miles.....

i mean,,when i calcalated,,its like i am getting 14 miles per gallon....
isnt g35 19/26 gas mileage??

i just wanted to know,,since i bought used car,,
maybe it has the fuel sensor problem,,,then i gotta go to the dealership,,

so..please let me know...
that mileage is normal?or is something wrong with my car?
thanks

i've been tracking my fuel economy monitor on my g, and i gotta say, if you are doing a lot of local driving, and very little highway driving, 14 ~ 15 mpg sounds definitely possible...

I have a z-tube, a plenum, a spacer but, hadn't really driven the car much before I had all the mods done. I'm now driving the car on a regular basis, mixed driving, my fiel light comes on at about 360 miles. I do gun it every so often, but I don't abuse the car.

sounds about right....on AT its like 300+ per tank and 6mt a lil more, even with some mods...buts if you drive in the city the whole time you'll be getting around 16-17 mpg the worst with AC on, and still driving hard.

Sweet jesus on a stick! I def get waaaay better fuel economy than that and I always thought it was bad. I get atleast 300 miles on a tank, usually about 350, sometimes I've gotten near 400.
