standard g35c interior

hi i am decidint between the zroadster or the g35 i just wanted to know what you guys think because interior wise i like the z better....i have a question to anyone with a non sport package g35....can you post a pic of the interior console since it does not have the aluminum how does it look? i think it would look better without the aluminum because personally to me it feels bad and i get the chills whenever i touch it.....also it says the package includes an LSD (limited slip differential) is this really needed? iwas thinking about ditching the sport package because i would rather the 17s for the snow (live in nyc) but would an lsd help me out? if so how.....also if anyone can post a pic of their non sport package interior i would greatly appreciate it thanks in advance

Wow, I think the Z interior is horrible compared to the G...I can tell you this, my bud owns a few stereo shops and he tells me that the G has a more more solid interior than the Z. But go for what you like.

As far as the LSD it should help in the snow but I am from the south so I have no experience. Basically if one wheel is slipping, it will transfer power to the other wheel and vise-versa. Good option for street tires, not so good for slicks.

I thought the Z interior was so bad.... I went to look at the G and ended up buying one. I thought the Z interior was not only very cheap looking but was bad ergnomically also.

ill be honest the z interior fits me more when i sit in my siblings g i feel like its bigger than me and i am surrounded maybe it was just the middle console because it is kind of high and uncomfortable but i heard somewhere without the aluminum interior it is a little shorter (just how the z is i just liked that interior because of that and of those 3 cool guages btw does the g have the trip computer if u dont order navi??)

Re: standard g35c interior

When I picked up my G a few weeks back, I had a chance to look at a coupe without the silver finish on the center console. From my perspective, it didn't look quite as attractive as the silver finish. Even though it's painted on, it does at a touch of class to the interior when compared to the standard black plastic (IMHO). It was a black interior and without the silver to break things up it looked too plain, but remember this is my own subjective assessment.

I test drove a Z before I bought my G. Definitely liked the G interior better. One thing I noticed about the Z was the huge blind spot.

Re: standard g35c interior

Goto the infiniti website to get pics of the G35C interior. The aluminum console in the graphite interior is actually plastic so it's not cold.

The bigger difference between the interiors is that the coupe is a 2+2 while the Z is only a two seater, so I think that would make more of a difference.

If you want 17" wheels go get the 5AT. If you want stick on the G35C, you are stuck with the LSD, 18" wheels, and the brembos, which in my opinion is a GOOD thing. There is no such thing as a "sports package" as the trim levels are different than the Z is. I would check out the infiniti website for better info, or goto the Rides section and check out other people's interior shots.

Re: standard g35c interior

I think more of a difference between the cars is the cheap interior of the Z versus the nicer looking one of the G. I mean, look at the doors of the Z from the inside, hideous.

I REALLY wanted a 2 seater, but I just couldn't get it. Folding down the backseats in the G isn't so bad. =\
