This is certainly nothing all of you aren't already aware of but as the title says, I just had to post this. I bought my 04 auto coupe in january and have been enjoying it every day since I bought it. The other day I was exiting the freeway (I typically slide over to manual mode when I exit in the faint hope of saving some wear and tear on the brakes). This exit is a huge oval with a yield sign at the end (no stop sign). As I approached the yield sign to merge onto the road, I was in third, with the VDC off, and totally tached up. I just decided to mash it. It was so beautiful...I swear it literally felt like the front end of the car was lifting up. That's pretty much it...just wanted to share this luscious moment in my still relatively "new" G.

 

weaksauce! should've exagerated and said once I'm on this huge oval exit, I mashed the power brakes, downshifted, and feather the throttle sending the car into a beautiful state of controllable chaos sliding and drifting across the whole length of the exit. That's pretty much it...just wanted to share this luscious moment in my still relatively "new" G.

Glad you are driving the G like it's meant to be

 

ur missing out... a lot more fun with a manual... stepping on the clutch, listening to the rev and popping out the clutch stepping on the gas and watching it fly...

I don't doubt it bro...The G is my first auto tranny in years. I would much rather have found a 6MT but the minute I saw my black G on the Infiniti lot, I knew I had to have it.
