OMG, list night CBS aired report on our special forces in Iraq and I could not believe what I saw. They were talking about NAVY Seals and they showed a couple of Desert Patrol Vehicles driving through the sandy terrain. I looked very closely and I recognized a G35 grill on the front. Well, this is it guys. This explains why Ducatiguy could not get back in touch with anyone on this forum. He is part of our special ops and right now he is on an important assignment somewhere in Iraq or Afghanistan. This makes perfect sense. I knew there must be some logical explanation.

On a more serious note, I too have been in a similar situation as maevrok but with a used high-end preamp from a totally unprofessional (expletive replaced) person. I was out of the country on 9/11 and this (expletive)person totally ripped me for $650 while I was "stuck" in London for almost 2 weeks. I am now very careful of with my net purchases: VISA and disputed payments.
I hope things work out better for you than for me. I was just too busy to chase the money...and I didn't have this wonderful G35 support group to pump me up!
Keep the faith man. I think you will be made whole, in time.
