Just what my insurance company wanted
Just what my insurance company wanted
5 yrs no speeding tickets. I get my black/black 6mt coupe 4 weeks ago and cant even go 3 weeks without a 85/70 ticket. I hate 95 in SC. But the car is soo sweet. Ohh well. The insurance company is going to love jacking up my rates again. I already pay $4k a year for 2 cars. This should be fun!

Hey...be lucky you weren't going over 100 mph...my lawyer fees are getting pretty high...and I know the state is going to throw a huge fine my way too...

Do you know what's sick about that? I was just watching the life story of Sam Kenison on E and they were talking about the accident that killed him. Some red neck kid in a pickup that had been drinking hits him head on while he was in the wrong lane trying to pass cars to get to a truck show. He kills Sam Kenison and then has no remorse about it and even ends up bragging about it and signing autographs because he was the guy that killed Sam Kenison. I was shocked to find out the punishment. No jail time, just probation and community service. What totally sucks about this is that if you get nailed for doing over 100, even when it's in the middle of nowhere with nobody else on the road, they can throw you in jail. For what?
Cars like the G35C feel about the same at 120 mph than most cars do at 60 mph. Not to mention that the G35 can brake fast. I wonder how long it takes a Ford Excursion going 90 mph to stop?
I saw another thing on tv about car chases. They were chasing some guy at high speeds and when they arrested him, it was his 22nd violation for drunk driving. What!? Don't you think that's about 21 too many violations? The guy will probably be back on the road in a week.
Sorry for ranting here, I just don't think there is any justice.

You're right....there really is no justice with traffic laws. When you hear about a tragic death of an innocent driver/passenger by a drunken driver, it's interesting and pathetic that more often than not, that drunken driver has had more than numerous DUI's and was still driving. Murphy's Law will eventually catch up.....
