06 rear spoiler size?

Hi guys, I am planning to buy a 06 G35. I am wondering if the stock rear spoilers come in different size. These two are both 06s.

Thanks!

The top one looks to have the 05 spoiler on it. Some guys like the bigger spoiler vs. the smaller 06 one. The bottom one is what came on them in 2006...

I prefer the smaller one.

I also think both were added later. The bottom one doesn't have the Aero Package which included the wing and diffusors. The top - same thing... They both also have the third brake light in the back window. If they came stock with the spoiler (we know the black one didn't), it wouldn't be there...

You might have been able to order just the wing on them at the time, but ours came in the Aero Package...

Make sure they are actually the Sports Package and not just the base unit with a wing and 19" Rays added...

Though I agree with you how can you tell that they don't have diffusers without seeing under the car?

Well, like aHero stated, it's kinda clear. BUT, even if you can't catch it, the Aero Package wasn't included on these cars at purchase point due to the fact they both have the third brake light in the back glass area.

I know they did Sport Packages with no Aero Packages... I think. At least I have seen 19" Rays on cars w/o the Aero Package and believe they can come that way. I'm just saying that if they added spoilers, they might have added just wheels and there isn't a Sport Package... Think base model with 19" Rays and added on spoiler... They could "trick" the un-informed buyer that it is a G35 with Aero and Sport when it isn't...

I don't think you read my post at all. I KNOW how to tell if the car has the aero package but how can u see the UNDERBODY diffusers from that view?

Way wrong, thats a splash gaurd... But the third brake light in the window has nothing to do with when the spoiler was installed, my car came with a spoiler and has the 3rd brake light in the window. (My car was new when i got it)

You cannot see the air diffusers unless you are under the car.

The dealer added a spoiler to your car before you purchased it. They do this to add "value" to the car and jack up the price.

Cars that comes with OEM spoilers from the factory do not come with third brake lights on the rear deck.

But the rear brake light is true. If the car came with the spoiler from factory, then the 3rd brake light isn't installed..

If the spoiler is installed after the fact, then the 3rd brake light is disabled... You can test it out by stepping on the brakes.. the 3rd brake light won't light up.

My car came with the spoiler from the factory, and it doesn't have the 3rd brake light because the spoiler already has the light.

AHHHHHHH.... I thought rear and side diffusers were what I was picturing. Sorry guys. I'm still new to this. I know we have the Aero Package, though!!

I'm right about the third brake light, though... right?
