Pressing the VDC to turn it off helps to eliminate this type of situation.

i always leave mine off just for the reason that it feels like a (car) and not so much a (comp) and i feel i have more control over her. The other reason is that same thing happend to me one time i stomped it to get out the way of a minivan comming at me and she was like NOPE IM NOT MOVIN THAT FAST, was the scariest moment of my life. so to the OP just know how to handle a RWD car and you'll be fine and plus its an at.

I will ALWAYS leave vdc on.
teh VDC will only go off if you do something you SHOULD NOT BE DOING.
e.g. if you lose traction for whatever reason, you SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT.
Lost traction in the rain and VDC kicked in? Either your tires are way too low, got the wrong tires, or you're going TOO FAST.

I've only had my car for about a week, but I've been playing around with it on and off. The car still handles phenomenally with it off, and you've almost got to force that rear end loose, and as long as you've got good tires and know how to drive, it's easy enough to keep a handle on things. (plus I've always felt that having MT's on cars allows you to stay more in tune with what's going on. You're definitely forced to pay more attention to your driving.)
I also hate when I'm making a fast turn with it on and it cuts the engine.
I figure I'll use it when hazardous road conditions (due to weather) exists though. I've never had a traction control car before, but I'm sure it's there for a good enough reason to use it sometimes.

How are you guys having so much problems with this, with it off the car doesn't really have that much power to break the rear end loose have you guys driven FWD cars all your life or something. You guys act like this car has a ton of raw power and if you get on it, it will just spin out uncontrolably lol you guys need to drive a RWD with some actuall torque and then go back to this car and you will fill like there is something missing.
