So Saturday night my window motor decides to quit working...I thought what the hell I will wait until the morning since this has happend before. well the next morning I came out and still nothing. so I said crap the motor must be out. Did alittle research and found out that autozone sales our window motors...well technically refurbished ones with a lifetime warranty. Anyways with that being said I went up there on Sunday and come to find out that this is a Special Order item..I have to wait until tuesday to get it. Yesterday roles around and I get a phone call that my window motor is in. I head over there to pick it up after work.

once I get home I first connected it up before install everything back. It worked....at least the motor did. So I started hooking everything back up. lined the window and the inner door panel back up and fasten all the bolts. Before I installed the Door panel I wanted to test one lasttiime...well the one lasttime it didnt work anymore.....I started to get pretty mad at this point. So i pulled the motor off again and all the inner door panels bolts to test it without it being connected.

Well nothing is happening...cant get it to turn or anything..I was like what the hell did I just blow the motor...I started reading through some post today and someone said something about resetting the window...well what is the process of resetting the window if it doesnt go up and down? is there one? oR should I just take the car into Infiniti and have them fix it? I went out of warranty on Feb 2008. I still have powertrain but dont think the window would be covered underneath that. I have a 2004 G35 coupe. Let me know your thoughts of if anyone has ever had this happen.

I have a couple of pics because I was told that the usual issue with our motor is carbon build up....so I thought well I will just take it apart and clean it and it should work...didnt happen so ohhwell...
