Re: My custom gauge pillar

That's sick. I personally don't want to be so showy, but it looks great. How do you paint a carbon fiber pattern?

Re: My custom gauge pillar

i thought about getting the sides but passed, actually the bumper isnt any lower than the factory one, i test fit it, and the height is the same, the only difference is the top secret one flares out at the edges, now that might not match, but ill wait till i get it on monday.

im glad the gauges match in interior, i just got the boost and the a/f gauges, so im gonna mount them in the nav cubby.

oh yeah, i hope you test fit the bumper before you got it painted because it doesnt fit, there are two bars on the aluminum bumper that hit it, you have to cut a small square out of the bumper so it will fit, plus i had to shave about a half a centimeter off where my IC was touching it. now it fits perfect.

Damn, thats a great job.......you have a talent for fabrication..
I've seen some professional installs that don't compare to the work you posted......how long did the project take?
once again.....I'm blown away at the quality and detail you produced!

Re: My custom gauge pillar

Didn't need the dremel, the bumper was able to squeeze past the retangular pieces and it barely fit the intercooler... but the left side side market light didn't snap into place too well.. ugh

Re: My custom gauge pillar

damn thats strange, there was no way mine was gonna fit around that metal, i had to take out about a square in on 2 spots before it would even get close to lining up right. i guess you got lucky.
