headlight problems

well i got my new headlights put into since my old one were cracked. and when i was driving home i noticed that my blinkers were blinkin incredibly fast and my rear mirror was turning green and then fading out. any ideas on whats goin wrong? thinkin it might be a ground. the guy said he had to take the whole bumper off to get to the headlights. also noticecd that they were stickin out a little at the top so i dont think that they are in there right either. this sucks and zfest is tomorrow too.

Re: headlight problems

Maybe you got some sand down inside where the headlights go from spending so much time at the beach when you should be studying???

Just a thought,

Re: headlight problems

Accoring the the service manual...

The turn signal and clerance lights are independate lights that just screw into the light housing, there isn't '1' harness that might have been left unplugged. Also, I believe the fog lights and the high beams are both on the lower bulb, so maybe it wasn't hooked back up. Kinda strange that they messed that many things up. You say the stick up? Maybe they tried to install sedan headlights in your coupe!!!!

Take it back to the dealership Monday morning and bitch a lot. Maybe you can get them to feel sorry for you and offer you some free time in the body shop!!!!

Re: headlight problems

It seems like everytime I talk to Daniel he is either on his way to the beach or bitching because he went to the beach and fell asleep laying in the sand is is sunburnt. When I was in college I NEVER had time to spend at the beach.

Of course it was a 14 hour trip for me to the ocean, and anyways, with all the class work who would want to waste time drinking beers and looking at hot chicks in bikinis?

Yes, I'm jealous.

Re: headlight problems

ah the great benefits of living in florida.

i checked my lights and i have no front blinkers, no clearance lights, and no fog/high beam lights. the rear blinkers now are goin crazy when i turn them on its like they are on crack. the ones in the dash do the same thing.

they should give me some free time in the body shop cause i def need it. damn haters

Re: headlight problems

The reason ur blinkers are doing that is because the front ones are out. Its the notification feature when you have any blinker light out, the rest smoke crack, so dont worry they probably were testing ur headlights then when they worked forgot to hook everything else up.

As for your rearview mirror, im confused...I didnt think u had the premium package...should not have dimming feature
