ecu reflash>tune ?
well...

a reflash is gonna give ur car a lot and pretty much a basic "tune"

a custom tune is gonna give you more of a fine tune

Thanks for all your help guys. After thoroughly researching posts, I've decided to go with Technosquare! I'll be calling them first thing on Tuesday morning to set up an appointment. Hopefully they can get me in before Friday because I'm leaving town for 6 months I'll be sure to come back and post my experience, dyno charts, etc.

Just called Technosquare this morning. Still borderline, considering it will come out to $700 ($550 for tune + $150 for dyno-tune)!

Can anyone else with a '05 G-6MT with similar mods as me who had the Technosquare reflash tune done chime in and share your experience (i.e. HP/TQ gains, etc.)??

uh, no... all of our ECU's have a learning feature BUT a re-flash does a lot more. it actually resets the perameters that the ECU will learn off. that's just one of the many features of the TS reflash

Out of curiosity, how come you never considered the UpRev?

Primarily based on the reason that I'm located in California (as is Technosquare) and it would be about a 2 to 3 hour job without having my car sidelined for 3 to 5 days.

I'd personally recommend Uprev @ Church.

Shawn Church is the only tuner I will let touch my cars.
He's also in SoCal.

Church's address is:

300 Quay Ave.
Wilmington, CA 90744

He's located right by the port in Long Beach.

Downtime will be... a few hours while he's tuning.

Call him for an appt. 310.518.4966

Many, many members can vouch for him from all over the country. IMO, he is THE premier tuner on the west coast for VQs and Hondas.

Plus, with the Osiris, you get multiple maps. Valet mode, stock, performance, etc. You can switch on the fly.

Go with the Osiris. With your mods you will likey see a 10-20hp gain and 8-20lb TQ. Shawn charges $650 which includes all your dyno runs. (Not bad considering people spend twice as much on an exhaust for similar gains) He spends about 2 hours getting your tune "just right". You will also receive 5 maps which includes a "stock" map for those trips to the dealer. You won't be disappointed .
