Transmission covered under warranty?

I have an 04 g35 with 23k on the clock. I picked up an extended warranty when i got the car in november and im not sure if the transmission is covered underwarranty. The only reason why I am not sure is because my brother has an 04 350z and his is covered so i figured mine would be too? Any one know?

I did some searching and in some threads it says that it would be be covered under the factory 100k/7year warranty. But mainly since it is a common issue(3rd gear grind, syncro) that they will swap it for the 008 or 009.

I just dont want to call up my local infiniti dealer and look stupid and might have to pay for everything

Isn't the power train covered 6yrs or 70,000 miles from the factory?

You are correct. http://www.infiniti.com/ownership/warranty.html

I'd opt for coverage under the powertrain warranty because some extended warranties have deductibles and some limited coverage.

Ill make sure to print that out and bring that with me.

Update*
I called the service department and they said to make an appointment to bring it up. Not sure if thats for a test drive or what not. Also said Im not eligeable for a rental since i wont be 21 for another 5 months. I hope that these people dont try to pull one over on me due to my lack in age since I make up for it in knowledge.

I don't understand why you didn't just call them and find out. Why the hell would you ask people on the forums about what kind of warranty YOU bought and signed for?!
