Re: Risque Photos

lol dothemath..yea i unintentionally had to hit the brakes and they stopped squeaking since as well, but only at 40mph...

off-topic from our cars:
as for the worldcup, i was surprised that korea did that well too. no offense, i'm korean too but i'm pretty skeptical about korean teams in sports. we'll see how it goes next wc.
and mina got so popular from those pictures.

Re: Risque Photos

i think many people have compalined of this problem, and the dealer doesnt fix it either. plus, its kinda hard to reproduce.

i think for this false advertising, we deserve some pix.

I had the same problem. I still am sometimes. When I first got the car it was real bad. New brakes usually have a film on it which causes the squeaking. Just keep braking and it will eventually disappear or may not be as bad.

Re: Risque Photos

As others stated, my Brembos squeaked when car was new. It happen when the brakes were cold and stopping at slow speed with light pedal pressure (Stop & go traffic). My thoughts at that time was that the new pads need to be seated. Over time, hard braking with spirited driving, the squeeling has gone away completely at any stopping speed. Also, I do try to keep the calipers clean & brake dust to a minimum when washing car. I believe you don't have Brembos, but it is probably the same situation. Little more pedal pressure when slowing at higher speeds will seat your pads and squeel should go away in time.

Re: Risque Photos

Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it and I did do a search on the forum(s) and didn't find much regarding the brakes. I can live with it, it isn't a big deal and maybe when the car is broken in more it will go away.

Sorry for the false advertising. Here is a couple pics of me...

Re: Risque Photos

my brakes didnt start squealing until about 2k...now I have 9400 on it and they SQUEAL/SQUEAK all the time no matter how fast i stop or how slow I stop. Got my car washed tuesday and brake dust was already building up on wednesday. Maybe its just me but for such a nice costly car I just cant accept the whole "well they just squeak you have to live with it" excuse. I mean 9400 miles is past the breakin "new" point dont ya think!

i love my g'izzle

SUPRCHCK: That stinks, yeah I figure I will live with it too but we will see. I am just going to inquire about it when I take it in for an oil change.

Re: Risque Photos

Risque pics of the World Cup Korean girl would be nice... BTW, her name is Mina for all you non-Koreans. After her WC2002 showing, she got super popular and got her own record deal with a hit song last year.

Amazing what a bit of working out can do for a girl. I went to Korea last summer and I never saw so many hot chicks in my life!!! For the two weeks I was there I saw less than 5 fat chicks. Back in America, I see 5 fat chicks before I even walk into my office door in the morning every day. -_-;

Re: Risque Photos

high performance brakes will squeel. can't help it. mine do the same on my evo.... every evo i know has squeeling brakes. don't worry about it unless there is something noticeable in performance/vibration...
