i have an 04 coupe which includes the cassette option, but the cd is damaged, no cds will go in,, im about to buy a 2005 cd changer which doesnt have the cassete hole will it work anyways? all i care about is to be able to put cds in

Sorry, don't know if the connections are exactly the same. If they are, you also will get MP3/WMV CD capability which is really nice.

 

As long as the connectors are pinned out similar, you should be okay.
