Don't get the DG!!! I almost go it and I'm so glad I didn't. Every G in my area (Westchester, NY) is Diamond Graphite. I went with the Ivory Pearl and I'm so happy I did. It looks so much nicer in my opinion and barely anybody has it. Mine is a 6mt with navi and aero.

I own a black G35. It's alot of work to maintain and a pain in the ***, but if done correctly it's gorgeous! So, it's up to you if you want to spend a couple hours every week keepin it clean. To me, I don't mind. I feel that it's just something you GOTTA DO! There aren't that many Black G35s out there either. They're all that silverish color. It's played out if you ask me. But definitely nice. The white is awesome looking too, but dirt on it can get pretty noticeable as well. Well, whatever you choose for sure it's gonna look awesome!

Personally, I love my Ivory Pearl, Willow Leather, 6MT with Premium Package. It's a great overall package!

Any color you may choose will be excellent....I think all the Coupe colors fit the car nicely.......
As far as ease of maintenance........a light color will be much more forgiving.....Like you my car is not garaged.......so, for many months of winter weather, then pollen in the spring, then bird poop in the summer, then wet leaves in the autumn.......it can become a never ending chore to keep up with the car.......
I decided on Ivory pearl, simply because
A) it doesn't show much dirt and dust.....
B) it does hide alot of swirl/scratch marks
C) stays somewhat cooler in the hotter summer months
D) Can't stop looking at it when its clean and sunny.....
the choice is ultimately yours......so pick one and enjoy!
p.s. I would love to own a black, red, twilight blue if I had a garage and full time detailer at my disposal.......

I'm planning on getting the Caribbean Blue when I get mine. I haven't seen one of those on the road yet.

get white.
BUT...
waxing is a pain. maybe its cause of the wax i use. but sometimes i miss spots cause the white paint and the white buffed on wax blend in together. i had to use the glare of the unwaxed part of the car to see where i had waxed or not waxed.
oh and yeah. brake dust collects real fast on the sides of the car. =[
IP > *colors IMO ;D

I bought my G my senior year of college and was always worried about dings and scratches in the lots. I had $250 in parking tickets my last semester because i would take up two spaces just to keep others from parking next to me.
I still think it was worth it. The Dent Wizard would have cost me more.
Mines black by the way, you should consider getting the Mr. Clean auto washer thingy. It truly is the heat. I never wipe it dry, preventing and swirls.

I have Silver but I recommend white not ivory white.
White looks good.
Ivory white is for chicks.

There aren't too many G coupes in my area but I hemmed and hawed a while before picking the DG. All I can say is I think there is a reason why, as someone said above, that they see so many DG coupes. IMO the color looks outstanding on the car. At first I wasn't sure and they didn't have any at the local dealer in DG, only a sedan. After getting the car 3 weeks ago it is far better than I expected. It really sparkles and has great character for a darker silver color. I came from a beautiful Pearl White upgrade color on an Audi A4 which I loved, but the DG is just as good in my opinion on this car. The IP on the coupe does look good, but the DG IMO fits the more sporty image of the car...for me. I don't find the DG to show dirt all that much unless I'm pretty close to the car which is similar to my IP-like Audi was, so no difference to me there.
To me the DG with the 18" stock rims just matches very well and I would never think of changing them. The rims with the IP don't quite do it for me, although they do look nice.
I got the Willow interior with the DG which is fairly rare (there are 2 others I know of on the board with it) and I think it is a nice blend of classiness, rather than the sportier graphite interior. So for me a DG with Willow combined sport and class in the same car.
Overall you can't go wrong....go with what fits your ideal image of the kind of "look" you want. IP is more classy. DG is more sporty. Red is sporty but has cop and cleaning issues (reds can fade from my experience). Black is very sporty, can be hot as hell and more difficult to clean. CB I don't car for on the car (no offense folks!) TB is pretty nice especially with Willow, but shows dirt a bit.
Good luck deciding!!
