Hey guys, i am planning on changing my my corner lights to clear outs, and changing my fogs to aftermarket fake xenons, and also the strip along the edge of the light, i was wondering what bulbs the strip along the edge of the light takes and what lights would be best, i was thinking either mtecs for the fogs and piaa wedge bulbs for the other 2. Any other suggestions please, help me out.

Best match is the Piaa extreme white wedge for the clearance strip and the mtec 4350 h4 for the fogs.

all of these lighting combos look great - but changing the clearance light just seems so scary to do lol - i dont have a G yet but soon as i get one i dont know if ill be able to do that lighting change on the clearance strip lol id be scared

 

you should check out velocity leds on ebay. I bought some and i like them over the piaas leds and xtreme whites. they are also cheaper.they are much brighter and the color is really nice. it matches my 6000k philips d2r bulbs good.

Changing the bulbs is very easy. Couple of tabs, couple of screws and your done.

hey...
i changed my corners, clearance strip, and fogs not to long ago.....and i was pretty darn nervous also.....reason being that i had never worked on a car....anyways if you just follow that link that gr8something listed its really really really simple...but for me it was kind of difficult, because i didnt' use a flash light at first....i'll just list my mistakes:

-first you need some good lighting....i was trying to use a small lighter and almost burned the inside....

-when you pull those clips out, put a flat screwdriver to the center and pull it out...my dumbass thought they come out like screws

-when you get to switching the fogs.....there are two clips....i didn't know this....and it took me a while getting the h4's out becuz i only undid one clip....

I bought mine here I'm sure if you do a search you may find other places as well.......

Just be aware in advance, the bulbs do not project more light than the stock units.........they just match the HID's color better......If your looking to increase you night vision, then I suggest you look into HID's, which will cost you considerably more than these color upgrades.......

is the clearance and side marker the same bulbs? 168 Wedge bulb? Must we use an LED in the clearance?

 

yes, they use the same bulb.. you don't have to use LED, the 168 Wedge Bulb will fit the clearance and side markers.
