Ordering Woes.

Ordering Woes.
Hey, I ordered a coupe from South Infiniti of Miami the other weekend. I was told it would take about 5 months to get the coupe in. The other day I contacted another dealer a little further away and they told me it only takes 2 months for them to deliver a coupe. Do you guys think I should get my deposit back and give it to the other Infiniti dealer? Do you think someone might be lying? I just want the quickest dealer. Any feedback would be appreciated.

They could be exaggerating (not necessarily lying) to get your business. 2 months sounds a little too short. They will probably get you to sign the papers and say "By the way, it'll take 5 months"
Who knows? Ask around and see if that dealership has a good reputation. Go on www.bbb.com and see if they are on there.
Good luck.

You could always put deposits down at both dealers and the one that comes first, just get your deposit back from the other dealer. The dealers I dealt with said that they will refund the deposit in full because the car is in such high demand and they wont have any trouble selling it.
However, five months sounds more like the appropriate time frame. I ordered mine in early Nov. and I just talked to the dealer and he said it should be in towards the end of this month. People that receive their coupes earlier USUALLY get a car that someone backed out on.

Re: Ordering Woes.
My brother lives in Daytona and he just order his Coupe on the 25th of feb. They gave him a dealivery date of late april. One thing I am wondering, I spoke with a sales rep the other day and he informed me that the amount of coupes that a dealership is allowed to order is determined by how many G35's in total they are moving a month. Wonder if that's why people are getting so many differant answers? Or it could be the universal truth that is the fact that you will never get straight answer from a car sales person about and car.
