Has anyone noticed that the gap between the trunk and the tail lights is wider than the gaps on the rest of the car? Almost makes it seem like the trunk isn't closed all the way sometimes. It's more noticable on IP & LR than some of the darker cars.

 

Also, there's no warning light in the dash that tells you when the trunk is open. My old 87 prelude had that lol.

The seam is slightly larger around the trunk, but the front door seam is what bugs me the most....makes me wish I had a black car

point well taken.....the other day I must have popped the trunk by accident when the key fob was in my pocket....
I drove about a mile or so before I realized the friggin trunk was open!

Actually i noticed this myself the otherday when i was filling up. The trunk gap looks pretty wide on the right side of the car, but on the left the gap is quite small, i think they installed my trunk on crooked.
