Here in a few years I'll probably be lookin' for an '07 G35 with relatively low miles. I just do not like the new lines of the G37 or the fugly chrome spoiler lip

I just threw this together to point out a few things after doing a side by side comparison of the G37 concept car from this angle to the 360 degree panoramic view of the new G37 on the Infiniti Website which I had positioned to the same angle. This image I put together negates to mention any potential differences that might be noticed from doing a side-by-side comparison of the G37 Concept to the G37 Production car from a direct rear angle and focuses primarily on the things visible from the angle of the car in the photo.

The lines are definitely all gone in production, the concept looks sickkk, but I'm gonna stick with the G35.

Also, the panoramic roof wouldn't work out because it seems like a safety hazard if the car flips or is in an accident, so they probably didn't figure out how to fix it in time for production, but everything else they could have done

Honestly, I'd look at the G37 Sedan before the G37 Coupe. I just love my G35.

dont deny it...if all of you could you would chose the g37 over the g35 any day..

regardless of the curves or not i would def take it over a g35 any day...

only a fool would chose the g35 if they were side by side and you had to chose....

haha same thing happened to me i went to get my satillite radio fixed. the dude brought out an automatic i asked him why later and he said he cant drive a stick (ha), they guy didnt mind me going full throttle so i did. i swear my car felt faster it really did lag alot, sounded nice though. my cousins g37s with the 6mt felt much much better, not to mention felt faster. but i agree the g37 is much quieter and has less vibration inside.

listen, everyone knew the headlights, rearview camera, and shaved handles wouldn't make it into production. the glass roof would have been great, but it has nothing to do with the lines of the car. the rear looks lower because of the inset exhaust that i already mentioned. the shoulder line that you say is not there is there on the production car and in the exact same place. the lower accent line is the same shape and placement in production. the best comparison for much of what you talk about is the rear 3/4 view of the concept and the i.p. production pictured above.

i know i'm never going to convince devout g35 lovers, and that is fine. when the next g comes out i'm sure a lot of g37 guys will pi$$ ad moan that the new car is ugly and that the g37 is the end-all be-all forever.

You must be looking at a different picture than the rest of us are if you think those various lines from the concept car are in the production G37:

Here... look:

If you can't see the huge difference between those 2 cars, you're not looking close enough or paying enough attention to detail.

Look at the line right above the door handle, for example.. it's completely not there in the production car.

uhhggg for some reason this car reminds me of something like a toyota tacoma if it were a car or something, its to round. just not really my taste. I prefer the lines of my g35

im being dead honest here...

i could've gotten a g37 but chose not to. looks > speed.

so it's all up to preference... i dont care about the motor unless the g37 was significantly faster but it isnt although it might "feel" faster... the g37 just doesnt cut it. looked too round for me.

id take the g35's exterior over the g37's interior. as i get older, id probably do the opposite

im paying equal price for g37 (leased my 2007 g35) and im nonetheless happy with my decision

i saw the production model at nyias and compared it to the concept in all different angles. the production model is completely different in person...in my opinion way too feminine!!!

For a lil bit I was thinking about a G37. But then I saw one in person . I'm not close to forty yet so I don't think I'm old enough for one. Looks way to soft. Yeah the interior looks really nice, but thats like saying a girl has a good personality. I'd rather have a hot chick that doesn't talk lol.

i was planning to do the same thing as you wait for an 07 low miles that was until i got spanked by a g37, at first i didnt like it but when you look at it study it and you have the opportunity to get one you will most of the people here are dropping the POOR MANS LINE i dont like the g37 (because right now they cannot afford one) and its a good way to get over the fact you cant get one. but like somebody else said if they sit em both and say here you'd pick the g37 by far. Its a new generation car we all like speed and its faster so yeah its a little bubbly i can live with that the extra HP's makes up for that. any body has an opinion be honest dont let ur pockets think for you.

have you actually seen one in person? i have one downstairs, and i can tell you that shoulder line is there, and it is very distinct. a picture of the car from the side will not show this line as these pics will.
