Gas pedal doesnt move very far?

hey guys, does anyone else feel like the gas pedal on the 6mt doesnt move very far down? It always feels like im always flooring it when im not trying to. is this normal or is there something wrong with my gas pedal?

Is this your first manual car? Manual transmission requires you to step on it more than automatic as you are choosing the acceleration/speed for each gear, rather than the acceleration for all 5 gears (like in an auto).
