well, first you should decide whether or not you will change the filter or keep the air-box and just get a K&N to drop-in there... the stock airbox is good, i would keep it and go with a z-tube... just decide b4 you buy somehting you won't need later......
also, don't get confused between a throttle b0dy spacer and a plenum spacer.... the plenum spacer is what gives you more HP, and an impressive amount of it too

After doing a alot of them...bolt-ons are a waste IMO. If you want sound do intake (Stillen or Jim Wolf) and exhaust (HKS or whatever you want) and maybe some HFC's. But don't expect to get alot of HP out of them. Other than that...do some good cosmetic/suspension stuff. Body Kits, Rims, lowered, Sways etc. That's what I would do.

you only say that cuz you don't have a spacer... a G with a spacer would smoke yo azz.... without exhaust or intake....

Not so fast bud, I have taken down revup G's with spacers in my 1st gen coupe only b/c I am a better driver. Rember one thing...you can have all the HP in the world but if you suck at driving anything will "smoke yo azz".

But you are right the spacer is a good mod, but personally if I am going to drop money into the car it's gonna be for FI. You can spend thosands of dollars on bolt ons and only gain 20whp. I'd rather put thousands into an FI project and see some real gains. It's the only way to go IMO.

I read for months before I did anything to my car.

Do CAI and the thickest plenum spacer you can stand and stop there or invest in a reflash and stop... Exhaust mods look great but $ for $ are not worth it and sometimes end up louder than you wish for.
FI is the real deal so save for that if you want bang for your buck.

All I have is my CAI, a Skunk2 5\8 plenum, a reflash and I'm real hard to beat... Have see many Z's, Mustangs, Magnums R\T's, WRX's,other G's, M3's and more try and fail as I pull away (not saying I am unbeatable you flamers!, but you gotta' love the look of a guy when his new GT just got pulled on by what appears to be a stock G35). I have spent less than 1K on my mods (excluding interior).
