Last week I was filling up my tank on my way to work, but the pump stopped halfway up. I thought the pump ran out of gas or something, but I was already late so I didn't really care.
Last night after work, I tried to fill up my baby again, but once more, the pump stopped halfway again. Has anyone had the same issues? I drive an 06 coupe. I took it to the dealer, and they didn't know what was wrong. But then again, my "service consultant" was going on his 4th day working there
.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Im guessing its the gas sensor. Or you have a lot of dirt in your tank already and its making the gas pump sensor thinking its full already thats why it keeps stopping half way.

Next time it happens, turn the fuel pump handle thing upside down and pump your gas. It happens from time to time when it gets really hot. I dunno the exact science, but for some reason if you pump the gas with the handle upside down, you won't have the issue of it stopping at half a tank.
This is a known issue....

I don't recall the exact problem, but the info is on the forum.

I remember someone saying you can access your fuel tank through the seats and do something to clean it and it should stop. do a search
