vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
Ok Long lost:
a) The cup holders in the front seat (armrest) hold my cellphone in the left and a water bottle in the right. Never really had a problem reaching them. I dunno guess I'm talented.
b) Never used the sunglass holder probably never will, however....
c) Upon reading this post I actually looked through my first aid kit. Feminine napkin...... nice. I mean, hey, girl in a mini skirt, emergency, dont wanna ruin your leather, but come on, is this really necessary in a first aid kit? lol
so my votes for the tampon

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
My vote goes to the remote that will put the windows down, but not up. I don't get it.
Is this feature to impress a date while you're walking up to the car or to get a few extra seconds of cooling time before getting in and driving away?
If I hold the button down too long while trying to vent the car on exit
I have to walk back and use the key in the lock to raise the windows to a safe venting height. Not too practical.
Second place goes to the cell phone nook below the power source. Just plain odd. Everything else is okay by me.

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
I recently found a very practical use for the remote windows down feature - for getting into the car in tight spaces. I had to squeeze into my car when the car to the left parked really close. With our long door (therefore window), I was grateful to be able to roll down the windows before entering, throw the keys in, then squeeze my hip and legs through without much worrying my upper body.
Of course one can always get in the other side, insert the keys, and achieve the same thing.
But if the Inifiniti engineers thought of this, you'd reason they'd throw in a remote windows up feature, for u can also use it when getting OUT in tight spaces.
I put the bay area electronic toll pass in that pocket below the power outlet.

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
I use my sunglasses holder, love it I don't know how I got along with out one before. But that card holder on the drivers side is a joke, they should have put the passengers side on on the drivers side. The tape deck is pretty much useless to me, just a dust collector. What is a waste to me is the 12v outlet in the armrest console, just takes up useful space IMO.
Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
the lil compartment on the passenger side, cupholders, sunglass holders, and most useless thing I think is the lil orange light that indicates when you are out of gas. I don't even notice it most of the times.

The most useless accessory is that light on the dash that tells you that your headlights are turned on....
Whats that?!??!?
You say we dont have an indicator?!?!?!
Then I'd have to say the dual climate controls.....

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
I've used the door side panel cup holder once.
If you've ever been on a trip and have had to go through tolls and you don't have one of those nifty speed/fast/whatever passes....then you know what the card holder is for.
Used the tape deck for my MP3 player after my CD player (CD ERR) crapped out and my FM transmitter just wasn't doing the job.
My sunglasses fit fine....you guys must be using those Blu Blockers
My Vote goes to the seat belt
jk I'll have to get back to you guys on this one.

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
the cup holder in the armrest hold the 'super-size' drinks well. it doesn't fit in the one that slides open.
i dont' wear sunglasses, but now i think i'm gonna do what aznteaser did and put my registration and insurance in there.
as for the card holder, i don't use it but i think i'll put an oh **** bar there someday.
i find the ashtray quite useless for me since i'm a non-smoker and i would never let anyone dare smoke in my car.
i find the SAT button useless since i didn't get satelite radio.
then again i haven't had my car for that long so i'm pretty sure i'll find uses for all of these things in the near future.

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
1. My sunglasses fit just fine
2. Why would you want an O-**** handle on the drivers side of the car? Shouldn't your hands be on the steering wheel?
Who the heck says ..."Oh no, I'm gonna get in a wreck, I think I need a handle"...
I think the "Oh S-" handle would qualify as the most useless feature if you had one.

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
Ok, I realized today that I need to change my vote...
I vote for the Retained Accessory Power that cuts off when you open the door! It should either be on a timer, or when you close the door. And it would be much better if the radio worked as well (you know, like other new cars).

Re: vote for the most usless accesory in the coupe
That is hysterical about the tampon remark. I use the sunglass holder (mine fit; what kind of glasses are you guys wearin'?), I can agree with the card holder (haven't used that yet), def have used the tape deck though. Hmmm, I can't think of anything...so far I use mostly everything except for that empty space on the passenger side underneath the extra lighter outlet.
